LOM-0312-04

-Silver plate is peeling from earwire.

LOM-0312-06

-Silver plate is peeling from earwire.

- The color issues pointed out in the QC of May Showroom Samples was not fixed. The shell and ink are grayer than the approval sample. Most critically, there are dark areas in the center surrounded by light areas on the sides that give the appearance that the topcoat is separating from the shell.

-It looks like extra resin was added to the edges of the shell to seal it. However, it is not smooth and disrupts the appearance.

I have attached a request for credit for the pairs that we are unable to use. Please confirm the credit amount. If you would like to look at them, I can ship them back to you with our next material shipment. Otherwise, we will just scrap them. Please advise which you would like us to do.

We still have a balance open on PO 16422 but this collection has proved too difficult to produce at a quality we are willing to sell to our customers. We understand that you are doing the best you can and these styles are simply too problematic. We would like to propose the following.

Option 1: If you have not begun production on the back order, we would like to cancel the rest of the order. We do not feel that it is worthwhile for you or us to devote more time and labor to these styles.

Option 2: If it is not feasible to cancel the entire order, we would like to cancel the styles with the most issues. LOM-0312-06 and LOM-0312-12 have not improved since the first shipment. It doesn't make sense for you to ship them to us when they are very likely to fail QC so that we can't use them. It is a waste of your resources and ours.

Please advise if either of these options will work for you. We are open to other suggestions, also. We want to find the solution that works best for both of us. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Dear Jung,

For some, the peeling on the earwire was evident on arrival, still in the poly bag. Others began to peel once put onto the jewelry card, where the bend of the wire rubbed against the card. And some earwires that appeared intact, the plating could come off with the pressure of a fingertip. So some arrived already peeling, and even more peeled under mild testing.

Best Regards,

Mimi
