Hi Jung,
I have just had a long skype call with Wendy, my Logistics person in Melbourne and we have discussed all the QA of the stock delivered.
So.. it looks like we will have around 30 - 35 % rejected items. I am sorry about this and I really have tried to approve all the ones that I can.. even when the designs were not what I would consider right. I have been very flexible on the interpretation of the designs..because I understand your issues around consistency.
I will have the final details tomorrow as she is just doing a final check today.
The designs are being rejected for design factors but also there are a lot of scratches on them as well as marks from the 925 stamping.. so I am a little but disappointed with that as really those latter mistakes should not get past your QC process.
I guess however it is much better than the 100% rejected ones 3 times over from the Banjara team with their first order… So.. the trip to Bali last time has made quite a positive impact and I think overall, given it’s our first real order , it’s not so bad. However, it is costly for you and I do understand that.
We will endeavor to send the stock back to you via your choice of courier on Monday. Please send your courier account details.
Once we have the final numbers, I will send the spread sheet to you ( hopefully tomorrow).. then could you please remove the value of this stock off my final payment and I will make the payment to you.
I think the lesson here is that we need to move to casting in future for certain items. I would say for all the Disc designs as well as Empire and Scallop .. just to ensure that consistency..
Once you see the quantity to be returned Jung, could you also please advise what value it is and what value you like put on the parcel for customs purposes..
